Marble is a metamorphic rock, granular – crystalline limestone with primers. Pure marble is a snowy white color, metal oxide primers give it a yellow, brown or reddish color, graphite, charcoal or black, and chlorite greenish color.
Marble can be easily cut, processed and polished, and because of its soft structure it is suitable for sculpture.
Marble is an exceptionally soft and warm material designed for interior decoration of stairs, corridors and wall coverings.
Granite is a type of deep eruptive rock. It was created by cooling and solidifying magnified magma in the interior of the earth. It is one of the hardest materials and is therefore often used in construction. The word comes from the Latin word “Granum” meaning grain.
Due to the strong hardness and strength of its structure, granite is resistant to external influences, it is resistant to low temperatures and freezing as well as the influence of acid rain and is therefore suitable for outdoor use.
Within the interior decoration granite is used for staircases, workbenches, wall coverings.
Today, the innate stone has become decoratively protective layer for the objects of construction work. The innate stone has adjusted to the criterion’s of modern construction, by means of processing, technology and installment. Techniques of carving and processing have experienced technological revolution with the application and usage of diamond tools, which enabled industrial processing of the stone and made the innate stone competitive to other materials in the market (with its price, characteristics and with its quality).
